OK - to the Guys who have a genuine EL/EF XR ... the brackets which hold the light on, the inside lower bolt - is that through the chassis or is there an additional bracket which utilises an existing hole my poverty pack gli might have... As the doco suggests only 3 of the four holes line up but I want four bolt holes to keep the headlights steady.
Might i need to manufacture something up?

yeah ... i put em on but I reckoned they would have vibrated too much on rough roads ... so I made up a little bracket to hold em. Works perfectly and uses the existing fourth hole the old lights did. I'll throw up some pics later on!!

Both sides are now secure as f**k on all four corners!

Just drill the hole guys.

Ask the Sydney members how annoying my waggin is at night time ;) They all have to put up with the shaking projector beam in their rear vision mirror. MRE-40L took the liberty of removing my bar one weekend and securing the lights properly :)

take the bar back off and use a tech screw if you dont want to drill out a hole for a 10mm nut / bolt

simple :)
