hey i have a 3.9 litre singlepoint EA falcon. i also have another ea that has been striped for its interior parts and the head is done on it as well. my question is would it be posible to get the multipoint fuel injection manifold off that car and put it on my car instead of the single point. what would be involved in doing this? what would have to be changed over? would you have to get a new computer for my car because the computer in the other ea is an automatic computer

its been done before from memory you need the manifold fuel rail injectors feul press reg multipoint ecu and im pretty sure youd need too change the fuel pump as well. there is a docco/threads on it somewhere here, maybe try a search and see what you can dig up about it

yea ive done a few of these, you need the mpefi manifold, fuel rail, injectors, fuel pressure reg, all the mpefi heater hoses, the lower thermostat housing (dont need it but it makes it easier), accelerator cable, fuel pump. the only mod you really have to do (if its a 3spd or 5spd wich are the only ones i have done), is the grey wire from the ISC, you need to cut the plug off the old cpi isc solenoid and hook the grey wire from that plug to the grey wire from the isc on the mpefi manifold, thenplug it in near the firewall where theold plug wasits quite easy, if you havea 4spd auto its a bit harder a bit more wiring to do but its in the doco's
