my qeustion too all of out there. is there a way to get sequential timing in an ED. is it worth doing (assuming that it is possible). would this be a wank factor or could i expect a decent improvement (to a certain degree) obviusly it would mean better fuel consumption but what about power.
something to ponder over  let me know what you all think

AU's have sequential injection and the power rating didnt increase over ELs, so probably not much to gain in that department.
Youll need an aftermarket computer to do it. EMS 8860 is capable of sequential injection but not sure if the software supports it yet.

Depends on who you talk to, when I was deciding on a new engine management system I asked a few tuners about loosing the sequential injection of the factory V8 EEC. Some said its no big deal while others thought I would end up loosing a fair bit of power and economy. No doubt that sequential is more efficient so will produce more power throughout the rev range and increase economy but I don't knwo to what extent.

A haltech e11x for around $2300 i think would give you what you want for control over sequential injection (but havent researched it 100%).
The AU i am told is only sequential up to about 3500rpm then it goes to bank firing anyway (maybe the reason for no power increase over EL). Sequential no doubt has the ability to save fuel, but as to top end increase of power I dont think so, a cam change or other mods woukd be needed, and then the fuel savings may not happen any way.

Sequential mager advantage is economy at low rpm..Emissions also...If you have 4 driver ecu they can be wired to fire two injectors at a time..Semi sequential for an 8 ...3 X's 2 for 6......Some fitters / tunners are lazy ..Make sure they wire the way YOU want and what YOU pay for!!!
