umm... two 10mm bolts (from memory), take off, unplug, clean, plug back in, bolt back up, reset ECU if you wish... um.. stuff that can screw up... the gasket brakes...if it does, get some gasket paper, or buy the gasket from ford(if they sell them).
um, the plastic clip on the plug brakes... boohoo. So unless your a real clutz I don't think you can really get it wrong... but you are welcome to prove me wrong here (amuse me).

Cheers

So in other words you're saying they let dirt and s**t through? Why, please tell, would you use it then, knowing this tidbit of information?

they don't stuff up as such so often. Most of the time they get clogged, and can't open or close the butterfly. So you clean it so there's no resistance with the movement, or if its stuck. that way you get a cleaner idle.
But they do also stuff up, if you burn the solenoid out, but taking it off won't damamge it, you can always plug it into your power point, and then come back here, and show me some pictures?

Cheers
