I had my mechanic try and fit a pair of DBA slotted rotors to the front of my AUII Forte. He called me half way through and said "they are too tall about 10mm and will not fit. They are hitting the cage when trying to put all the caliper stuff back on". I got these from a friend hardly used and the model number he gave me according to dba site should fit the front of my car. I just measured and they are for AUI. Is there anything I can do to make this fit?

get au1 brake setup or sell em, I would not machine em down simply cos it is a lot of material to remove for minimal gain.

Nup nothing you can do... AUI Rotors are different to AUII.

Try and sell them, and get some AUII/III ones.
