you have a temperature sensor near your thermostat... has 2 wires going to it... go have a look, can't miss it. These are reistance based sensors. What resistance is what depends on each one... but if you get a cold reading, and then a warm and hot reading, im sure you could work it ouy from there...
Cheers

speaking of which, what temp should an EF fairmont run?
put dads into the diag mode and went for a trip around the block after the car had been out for a drive and it was around the 100 mark?

well, depends on your thermostat really... the stock falcon ones (not the taxi ones) open at 92 degrees I think, and the taxi ones open at 86 or something... the thermostat should keep the temperature there abouts.
Cheers

Because mine will briefly go up to 100 sometimes depends if I am driving hard or whatever but generally hovers around 91-93.5 degrees That is if you have a standard 92degree Thermostat
