I have a AU fairmont wagon and I'm looking at putting leather trim in. The front doors and rear doors are the same as the fairlanes and LTD, but are the back seats the same? I think the front seats will fit, But I'm concerned about the rear seat. I've been told the wagons and the Fairlane/LTD have the same floor pan, If so then the rear seats SHOULD be the same?

sounds about right - thats the case for EF/EL, can't see why it doesn't carry for AU the only thoughts i'd have would be the bolsters - i can't remember if they are identical or not

I am looking into this too.
The door panels and front seats no worries. The rear floor is different as the wagon has a live rear axle and the Fairlane has IRS with different locating lugs. Its not way different but its different. I reckon its doable but may not be a bolt in. the real prob is the mis-match with the trim colours. |

Wagons and Fairlanes have the same wheel base and the floor pan is similar. However the biggest differance in the rear seat is the fairlane/LTD uses the extra length of the wheel base for more legroom for rear seat passengers, where as the wagon use the extra length for the cargo area. This being the case I doubt the rear seat would fit, someone else hear may have tried and be able to give you a more accurate answer

the problem you will have will be the upper half of the rear seat and the bolsters
The bottom half will go straight in but the upper half seat mounts are different and the fairlane has bigger bolsters. Easiest way to overcome this is to pull the covers and padding off the fairlane seat and put it on to you wagon seat back
