Very nice ET (although MPH do seem a bit low for a genuine 148rwkw IMO). Not taking anything away from you though, unlike dyno numbers you cant argue with track times.

How much do the wagons weigh?

a v8 with 148kw will have a higher mph because it has more torque so mph aint gonna tell much as long as the time is there

To a small extent, but not really. Drag racing only uses a very narrow part of the power band, so having a nice broad torque curve is no advantage.

Basically, mph tell you how much power you have (for the weight of your car), and ET tells you how well the drivetrain and driver are working.

guys i will remind you that all this is basically to show what sort of improvement these new cams that we are getting in at crescent can do for you and the difference it has made on robs car is phenominal and has now been proven with figures and track times to back it so for a decent price anyone who wants to get a bit more out of their i6 this is the way to go for sure

yeah but a v8 has a higher torque curve right through so no matter what part of the curve the v8 or bigger cube engine with same kw wil still have more torque and if the car weighs same or around it you will get a better mile an hour

and yes i believe its a good impovement

awsome and i would be keen to get one of these cams into my 6 pack

I dont want to turn this thread into an argument over mph vs rwhp, so Ill just say that your facts are not right. If the cars are making similar power at similar rpm then they are making similar torque regardless of the capacity of the engine. When you want to tow a boat you want torque, but when talking drag racing, its all about engine power. If you do some research into rwkw vs 1/4 mile mph youll see what I am talking about. If not then maybe start a new thread on the topic.

Anyway, getting a I6 falcon into the 14's is a fantastic results regardless of what the dyno says. Congrats again yobbo.

Yeh, open another thread.. I'd be interested to see what people have to say on this topic.

I'm sure we have some physics whizzes here.

bigger the engine capacity the more torque it will have than a smaller capacity engine with same kw , so if wat you are saying why dont everyone build 2 ltre engines with 148rwkw cos it will have similar torque and will be lighter
