Okay i have searched through 45 pages of search results and have come back with nothing, im attempting to paint my rocker cover on the weekend.
'Here we go !' says everyone! Just wondering if the cover bolts need to be torqued up to spec (if so what is it) so as not to leak? Because i don't know if the loud 'popping' noise tightening the bolts up is a good thing or not. Aaaannd use gasket goo on the cover seal? Again sorry if this has been covered! (no pun intended) |

The rocker cover doesnt do anything but stop oil splashing everywhere. Dont overtighten! If you get hold of a ratchet, with the socket on it, and twist it by the head, not the handle, you should get them tight enough. but dont do them too tight or youll crack the cover.
