cant see it been to hard, unless the floor pan was different to the sedans with buckets,
you can move the coloum s**t as well then, as well as the handbrake

Hey Mate,

You wont be able to convert it to floor shift as theres no hole for the shifter

Also note that you'll need to add 4 holes for the inner seat rails if you go bucket.

a whole? dont you mean a HOLE?

dunno about the XH's, but if they're anything like the XD-XF's, the floorpan is exactly the same, just need to pop the little rubber plugs out that cover the holes in the floorpan.....

waggin, the bench seat floorpan was only different from EF onwards cos of the handbrake, wasnt it? the XH's kept the old XF style handbrake, so i dont see why they would've felt the need to change the floorpan

Agree with Interceptor. Did a manual conversion in my old XF ute. Went from bench/column to buckets/4spd. Popped rubber plugs out of floor and rails bolt straight in.
Just cut a whole hole in trans tunnel for shifter, but I didn't bother with a center console coz I'm lazy. Shouldn't be too much trouble though, maybe a bit of retrofitting/drilling/hacksawing...

what i'm unsure of with the XH's is that from the start of the XG's (and possibly late XF utes/vans) ford switched to EA-onwards seat mounting rails, and changed the floorpan to suit
