G'day

slight leaking heater pipe O-ring + 125,000 may as well replace the whole lot.
Problem is.. What bloody brand? a Jap made pump or a Taiwanese one?.
Is there a difference in Impellor sizes and thickness?
Do I get one with the pully or without?

So basically... what do you, the 'majority' prefer?.

thanx

Go the original Ford. It may cost more, but its better quality. The fins and impeller are larger and a better design than any aftermarket pump.

My aftermarket pump has never done as good a job cooling my car as the original pump. I will be replacing the pump with a factory one in a couple of months before summer hits. Last summer and some spirited driving saw higher engine temps in my car than I ever did with the equivalent circumstances with the factory pump.

I think this is one part Ford designed and designed well.

Have a read of this one:
