Firstly the centre console is cracked, the bit where with the lid for storage back from the gearstick. Is that hard to replace? Its got air con ducting and power window switchs and the gearstick on it. Could be a nightmare.

I have a few globes blown in the dash on the RPM gauge and one for the air con button. Are they hard to replace (no I dont want to go blue LED dash).

Also it doesnt have the alarm thingo when you leave your lights on. I thought all EF/EL Falcons had that.

The air con fan makes a funny noise kind of like leaves stuck in the fan or the motor whirring too loud.

Is it hard to the above, has anyone done that and have a guide for me?

Cheers

I get that. Can sometimes be fixed by fishing crap out of the airbox in the passenger footwell. Slidy curved door thing on a spring up under there, usually leaves and s**t fall out of it when you open it. Be careful not to damage the greasy foam rubber seal on it, it pretty much disintegrates when you touch it. Otherwise, no clue.

I used to just pump my fan on hard and eventually it'd shut up. :|

EDIT: Don't do this when the fan's on. Fingers are nice things to have.

Changing bulbs is easy in the dash. See here, for what the back of the dash looks like: http://www.fordmods.com/phpBB2/documents.php?doc=67 (towards the end)

The cracked parts (centre console) can be found at a wrecker, just a bunch of screws, and some connectors to disconnect (power windows) and you'll be right.

Agree with datazoid. Either crank the fan until the leaves get blown out or cut up, or fish 'em out yourself.

Sweet picture of cluster. That'll be simple. Cheers
I'll have a check of the airbox. That spring holding it in the fresh air position is damn tough. Its hard to get it to open though.

I had my solenoid arm failed in the airbox, so it was stuck on fresh ALL the time (behind diesels, driving by rendering plants, etc.) I screwed the damn thing shut. WIll get around to replacing the arm someday.
