I just rung my local ford dealer about the AUIII XR8 snorkel for my AU Fairmont wagon and he said the ba xr6 turbo has the same size opening and would fit my car. He reckons the only difference is the Au has the tickford wings. Is this right? I went with the Au one and picking it up this arvo. I'm now looking at get the XR6 one latter on for my wifes Ba ute, Do you think it will have any gains over the standard on? People praise the snorkel on the E series to A series but I haven't heared to much about doing it for the BAs

Its not a mod that you'll get remarkable increases with, but for the money it's ok.

There's no reason why it won't do the same for a BA as an E/AU series.
