Hi all, I cooked my head in the middle of bloody nowhere, got the car to my good mate mechanic who i told to upgrade the bloody thing seeing it was gone. The head had no cracks but was warped . It has been shaved and ported with bigger valves. A 1604 wade cam put in, pacemaker headers and full exhaust added with high flow cats.
In the block we found that the rings and pistons were f$%#$d so its getting between 30 and 40 thou bored and the crank was also machined. So now bigger pistons. The blocks not back until monday. Also he's adding an au2 xr8 snorkel and a pod filter.
Anyone have any ideas on what sort of figures i can expect from these mods. And if you think he has put in the right parts. Appreciate the feedback guys, have read your responses and some smart cookies out there

Mechanic called me to say the block has been sent back with new pistons, 30 thou bigger he told me. Can't wait to get it back.
