they look better than the wheels he has on the fairmont at the moment, but they don't suit it at all.
get a nice set of 15's, they're selling quite cheap these days.

Better yet get some EF/EL Ghia alloys or EF Fairmont alloyrs. All very, very good looking wheels.

Couldn't possibly look worse than the standard EF Fairmont wheels though.

ED 5 spoke wheels are the ONLY wheels that look horn on EF/EL shape bodys. The unpolished ones (eg not the EB2 XR6 polished 5 spoke wheels)

What the fudge are you on about? The EF Fairmont wheels are great, ask anyone. They suit the car well and they are classy looking wheels in their own right. I guess if you're a bogan or something they might not be your cup of tea.

I don't "check" pictures of my car, I "gaze" at it's beauty. :D That includes the wheels. Though one day I might like some 17/18 inches to get a different look going. The EL's were just too plain, and not enough spokes.

Is that whilst it is parked down at the local bowling green next to all the other grand-pa cars?

The fact that you even 'mildly appreciate' those rims makes me think you must have some sort of psychological ageing condition.

They look crap. Get something a bit more open. EF/EL 16's look horn on any E series car and CSA make some good looking wheels for the EF/EL shape.

Cheers,

P.S. Hope that wasn't too controversial!

I don't know if that is really the right thing to do. It's sort of like the legalising of drugs issue.

If you leave them alone it makes them think that it is alright and socially acceptable.

Drugs are not socially acceptable and those fairmont rims shouldn't be either!

I'm just doing my part for all those impressionable young Ford fans out there who might be watching. Can't have them thinking that ugly rims are OK!

O, it was very controversial! lol.

Well I'm a conservative type of guy, so that's reflected in my taste. I think the more spokes you have, the better it usually looks. Though once you get larger wheels they can look good with half a dozen or so. I don't like the look of the EF/EL XR wheels on the Fairmonts.

These look hot to me, no less than 17 inch though.

Ugly wheels include: CSA Edge, CSA Concept, CSA Magnum, CSA Sprintmaster, CSA Concept and Prowler 4 Spoke, and a few more CSA's too.

More nice ones:

Someone who works in the same shopping centre as me has these wheels on his/her's Hyundai Accent. O man they look so bad.

And they are far from ugly, the ones I outlined out the ugly ones.
