could be leaking when under load
ie while turning the wheels while driving, and the fluid spits out under load all of the rd hence no visible leaks.

Checked the car today and the fluid seemed to be coming out of an electrial plug that goes into the Steering Rack, I assume it's a sensor of some kind, wonder if it's a pressure sensor and a seal has gone anyways taking to garage on Monday cause I don't know how to fix it.

to fix the power steering switch (little blue switch on the rack) will probably cost you about $70 from memory, sounds like the problem to me

Thanks guys but is there a way to fix it yourself, my old man has an EF workbook somewhere but since they moved they can't find it in all the mess.

I just did mine today, mine started leaking too. Switch cost me $49,95 from repco (ford wanted $68) and you unplug the switch, use a 15mm spanner to remove the old one, clean up the hole and put the new one in. Took me about 5 minutes to do the job, about 20 minutes to figure out the best position to take it off.......
Tried from under the car, but found the best place was me actually kneeling on the rocker cover I have the ford emblem embedded in my left knee at the moment from the raised lettering.
