At the current price, hes making about $50 or $60 profit. So not too bad a price overall.
You still have to buy springs at say $110 per pair, which takes you to over $500 providing the shocks dont go up in price. So price wise, overall not bad really. But, from a handling and performance perspective, these shocks suck. They are more comfort than handing biased. As an example, these went on my old mans NL are replacement shocks, and they are almost as soft as the factory items. You'd probably be better off looking at KYB's as a cheaper performance alternative, or Koni's if you got the $$$ |

if cash isnt a prob go bilstein/koni, NO queestion about it for sure.
If trying to keep the costs down but want a decent setud id look at KYB as adrian said. If your on a real budget, go the monroe/pedders shocks, dont seem to last as long, dont handle as nicely, but still better than old stock shocks none the less.

You won't be able the use the set off Ebay if you have Superlows, Kings Springs at Penrith have Front struts for $290 a pair and rear shocks for $140 a pair and these are for superlows. Alternativly Pedders are $420 fpor the front and $210 for the rear. Hope this helps. |
