trust me .... water isnt a problem look at the scoop on mine ....has been on the car 2 months now and it faces forward

goes though car washes and rain ect and when you lift the bonnet you would be lucky to find one drop of water

so where does the water go?

Not that much goes in ... and what does the heat from the engine gets rid of quickly

i'm not worried so much about the water getting in when the cars running, but say the cars left parked outside in the rain for a couple of housrs and water gets onto the battery or around the relays or something, could be problems with short circuit when starting the car.
specifically with the drivers side vent, it's right above the lpg unit, including the electronic box and the solenoids and that.
