can anyone tell me for certain if the au thermo fans will fit straight into an xf?? i know the waterpump thread comes close, but will the fans fit onto the radiator, the ef/l ones dont but i heard the au ones do?
anyone confirm? -cheers, mitch

im running au2 thermos in my xe ute, and they have to be cut/filed away to fit, and you also have to bolt them up to the radiator which can be a bit of a pain.
Yes they do fit, but you have to modify it to work.

Ive also got twin thermos on my XE. You have to cut the top lip off the thermo frame, no big deal and just bot it to the top lip of the radiator too easy! fits like a dream and looks pretty hot to

Got mine using a craig davis thermo switch. some would say that they are too much hassle but I had no problems

they don't look factory, but they do the job.
i'm gonna eventually invest in an adjustable high temperature buzzer kit, and wire a relay where the buzzer should be, to switch the thermos on.

Yeah u have to mount a coupla relays and feed a thermo wire into the top rad hose (use plenty of silocone!) and a shiney controler box needs to go somewhere to, u can hide all of this with a little work of course, but I couldnt be bothered, gotta leave something to do next week
