I have seen a air to air sub installed in a box is this bad and will it f**k the sub?
As I have the same sub but its installed in the parcel shelf I want to get more base and there is a sub in a box already in the boot but the sub in the parcel shelf s**t on the one in the box.

do you mean free to air sub. i was reading airto air and thought wtf.

free air subs are designed to use huge enclosure volumes, thats why you install them using your boot as an enclosure..

ummm it wouldn't wreck the sub if the sub was made for free-air. I have a 10" pioneer sub which is mounted in the boot behind the passenger seats. it creates good bass but its not as clear as enclosed subs. they are good and are goood for SPL so ive heard. it does the job =)

Nah it wont hurt the sub, just limit its low end bass. Your best bet would be to put both of them into a sealed box... try 100lt box if you dont mind loosing some boot space.
Otherwise cruise up to cashconverters up the road and grab a cheap sub/box... they got some good cheap subs ready to go there mate
