Q1:::
With a 4L, should the injector fire twice every cycle (two complete engine revolutions).

or

fire them once every cycle (two complete engine revolutions).

Once seems logic, but ive been told by someone else that they fire twice???????

Q2:::
What is everyone running for their static timing @ btdc???

Q3:::
What Dwell ms is reccomended, or how can this be found?
im guessing with a good timing light...

Q4:::
Does anyone know what split timing is?

Q5:::
Sync sensor... Mag or Hall?

Q6:::
What timing you running @ cruise, top end/wot and decell?

Sorry for all the Q's, but im bored and just double checking everything :D

fanks

1) On a sequential injection setup, they fire once per cycle (1 cam revolution or 2 crank revolutions). On a bank fire, if you have 3 banks of 2, yes, they will fire twice per cycle.

2) 10* BTDC is recommended for the 4L TFI setups. For EDIS this setting doesnt count

3) 3ms dwell for single coil, 4.5ms for wasted spark coil pack

4) Hmm, not sure :P

5) Your dizzy provides SYNC and uses a hall sensor

6) 45* WOT, 15* Idle, anywhere between 20-40* for other load areas

It will be 3ms also. The only reason the dwell can be set higher on the wasted spark systems is because there is more time between spark events for the coil to re-charge.

However, being that your ignition system is pretty tough, you may be able to increase the dwell a little. Maybe post up another thread on how to determine maximum ignition dwell :)
