hey just wondering whats the best kind of paint to use if i was to be painting my rocker cover (blue).? something heat resistent i gatherd. cheers

I would Recomend VHT Caliper paint, it goes on better than VHT engine enamel and is more heat and solvent resistent.

ohk thanks man. that just come as spray can? u know how many coats would do it? cheers

I did my calipers/rotors with VHT Caliper paint, I did 4 coats turned out great.

what would the process be to do this?
sand it back? then primer then paint? f**k i know what to do... this is on my list of things to do

Its pretty easy to come by, most auto shops should sell it. I'm pretty sure you don't need to prime it even on alloy. I'd just give it a light sand then paint it. It comes in a pressure pack. I guess the correct think to use would be engine enamel, I just think the caliper paint gives a better finish and is more heat resistant (seems to have more pigment too).
