If you had an Aussie V8, the easy way around things is to simply start using a US program in your EEC that suits the hardware. Your already streets ahead then. Of course, the Aussie 6 is a b**ch, but if you had time you could work it out. You just need to understand assembler, get the right tools, and have *lots* of time. .. or be lachlan from Chiptorque Time is what I'm missing.
