Hey all,

Last night I parked my car, then went to start it a couple of hours later and it wouldnt start.
I checked and I have no spark. I have 12 volts at the coil. I tested the coil and the resistance values are within specs.
And the coil is only 5 months old.
And also there is coolant pumping out from under my car, its running off the crossmember, but it looks like its coming from the front cover. So im thinking water pump.
Ive started pulling it apart and have found the headgasket leaking....

So here's the thing, Im going to be pulling the head off it over the weekend and replacing the gasket with one of those thin metal ones which bump up compression.
And im going to do some head work myself.
But im undecided on weather to put a cam in it or not? What are peoples thoughts? I want something big and that idles lumpy but I dont want to have to fit a chip.

Cause I still want to sell it but so far there hasnt been any takers so im thinking of having some fun.

Also I know this is the wrong section but I want to change the diff gears while its apart. Ive got 3 flats in it now and I want to go to 3.9s and keep my spool. So do the old skyline centers fit? Or is there a better center to get?

Last of all is the stall converter, I want to upgrade that to, with something that will stall to 3000rpm but still retain the lock up clutch function. Any ideas people? Ive heard someone has a way of getting around the limp home mode feature.

Sorry about the long post, I just want some peoples opinions on the above mentioned mods.

Also last of all, Does any company make extractors for the 6 cylinder with a 3inch collector? Or will I have to go custom?

Thanks heaps.

It would be easier/cheaper to do it all at once when the engine/car is apart yes.
Personally I would, if money allows.
