got 2 12' jbl 1000 subs to go in a ea s-pac sedan. lately have heard many different ways to make more audible.

ie. reversing polarity (so sub booms the other way)

turning subs to face back

buying ported boxes and running tubes to the back parcel tray (however i have two normal boxes)

also ppl any help with how i should wire these subs to the amp and what the amp setting should be i will be very interested. amp is boss audio BA-4800 i think. its silver all over (not the version with the fan problems its above them

if your after just loud bassthen port the boxes you will get heaps more out of them as for reversing the pullaraty i dont think it makes a differance but pointing the sub out toward the road seems to sound better to me

If you listen to rnb face it to the back of the car. If you listen to techno and house face it to the front as facing it to the back will make the beat sound like it is slow and you feel like your ears are waiting for the beat to hit.

Cheers
