Chances are it'll replace your old radio/cd head unit anyway. There are a few types, some are just a screen with a stacker in the boot/glove box etc. Others are a complete screen/player in a 1 or 2 DIN head unit.

As for pricing, cheap from $600 to expensive at $3000 or more.

My DVD headunit and tv cost about 400 all up.

DVD PPlayser sits where normaln radio does, TV covers the middle left air vent.

If your gonna have a dvd player you might aswell use that to play cds as well as dvd's and majority of screens come with FM/AM tuner anyway, so you can use it for the radio too. I removed the double din premium sound head unit and replaced it with a motorised 7" screen in the top din and had the dvd player in the bottom. Since the EA is single din, i'd suggest a motorised screen with a dvd slot already in it, or opt for a dvd stacker to go in the boot which also does cd's/mp3's/vcd/picture slideshows etc.
Have a look on www.caraudioaustralia.com in the forsale section, might be able to pick something up of good quality for half cost price

also how hard would it be to install the moniter into where the radio goes and the head unit into the glove box? would i need to get somebody to do it for me? i dont want any wires showing so i guess they would somehow have to go around the back of the dash into the glove box. cheers

dunno what the back of an EA dash is like, but the EF/ELs are easy to get wires around the back of.
