Yes, a couple of KW at the rear, but save up for the $10,000 fine if caught.

cars with no cats have a very distinctive sound. I can pick a VL with a punched out cat from a mile away. Falcon shouldn't be too hard to pick either.

As said above, you will know when you listen to it lol - they can be picked out a croud easy as.. not just like saying "its got a zorst" as it does have a different sound to anyother type of car w/ cats would.

No, its not worth it. Plus its bad for the environment!

$10,000 - 2RWKW.

BTW, dont get a 'high-flow' cat, just use an AU 4L cat, and have it re-flanged, it will outflow most of these '4" hi-flow' s**t.

Do that it's a better idea. But I found a new Ford cat to be more expensive than a new high flow, so I went with the high flow. It's not worth the risk.

Ones on eBay.com.au can be had for Anything between $120.00 to $200.00 back when I was looking- 3" most common, strguggled to find any 2 1/2" ones.
My exhaust shop sold me a high flow Berkley (I think that was the brand, can't remember now) for $200.00.
I think genuine Ford cat is $400 or something from Spare Parts!

And like I said in another thread you have to be very careful buying a Ford cat from an exhaust shop, because most of the time it won't be a Genuine Ford cat, it'll be one made by a different company (aftermarket), but with flanges alreay on it to suit a Ford exhaust system (basically a look alike replica direct replacement for the factory cat). And so it won't have the same flow rate as the Genuine Ford ones.

Dang that must be a gold plated muffler!
I ordered in a Lukey Ultraflow muffler for a mates dad the other day whose helped me wiuth some things on my car (e.g. did my fake exhaust tip on the back and that), it was a Stainless Steel one, cost him like $150ish I think, but looked awsome, it had a polished mirror finish on it! I honestly reckon this thing was more reflective than my bathroom mirror!
