i used to use them wen i was into modding my pc case, and used the scanners cathode with the kit that i got from them. had to make a few adjustments but know itll all run without a problem coz the pc's power supply is a 12V DC just like a car battery the kit has 2 plugs aswel, so if i really want i can connect my blue or green cathode too!!! (think ill pass on that one...) They are sweet, and cheap!! I must ask, what mods did you have to make it make it go? Or was that mods to make t go for a puter? |

The ones off that site come with molex plugs for a pc with a switch as well, and one end of the plug goes into a transformer, which the cathode then plugs into. all i did was cut the wires between the transformer and the switch, then connect these to the 2 wires that power the original boot lamp. had a whole heap of wires and a switch left over but i can find a use for that in my pc

I just done mine. I mounted mine inbetween the passenger speaker and sub utilising the existing screws so I didn't have to drill any new holes.
I got an old Targus USB 4 port hub - ripped out the guts and put the small power supply into that then fitted it with a zip tie. All nice and secure and completely removable I'll do a photo from the outside at night later on and post up that!
