yes, per door that's why it is up around a grand! that's why I haven't done it and why I am still trying to source a cheaper window reg before I do!

YES per door.

If it were 250bucks brand new for 4 doors dont you think every s**t box on the rd would have pwr windows?

They are still considered a luxury in this country n the car manufacturers will make you pay out the nose for em!

In NZ i dont think i ever seen a car w/o pwr windows lol!

The doors are all the same so I don't reckon it'd make much difference.
The best thing to do mate is wait till someone is wrecking a Ghia or something near you and pounce. People often pick up leather interiors for like $250.00 and that then, takes a whiel though, as they don't come up too often.
But you could probably hit up any old Fairmont EA-EL, and get the power window gear, cept the witchs if it's Pre-EF.

so they should be crashing anytime soon :P *touch wood*
one of em already wrapped a holden around a tree after a month

pfft i got one for 165 installed. (replacement for broken one) it was meant to be a used one but they stuffed up and had to get a new one but still it must have been above cost for them (at a wrecker)

it isn't the motor which stuffs up mostly it is the regulator. You can seperate the two but I just can't find a supplier of either in Australia for Australian cars!!
