As any one see one of these in action? I've only read about them in street machine fords, their made by walker performance and look to run on the standered ecu but with duel 60-65mm holden t/b's, I'm not sure how it would work with the throttle sensor? any onfo would be good, I have emailed them and looked on their site but no info yet.

There really isn't any need seeing a single 65mm is more than enough for most engines, and you can get 75mm+ ones easily. Twin throttle bodies just complicate things while not really giving anything IMO.

I agree. I think 130mm of throttle body is probably a bit of overkill. At least you know your donk will never run out of breath through there anyway.
I do think that they would fix the problem of doughy throttle response with large throttle bodies as two 65mm units would result in a higher CFM under normal intake vacumn I think????? (air moving afster through a smaller apperture and all that)! They would as already mentioned be more fiddly and harder to tune effectivley. Remember triple webbers? Beautiful when tuned right..........ugly otherwise!!!

Yes it would slightly, I think it would be better for throttle response to go even lower than 65mm. If I remember correctly, the VN Group A commies ran a dual TB setup but the primary was something like 50mm while the secondary was 65mm (or around that). But when it comes to it, no many people need more than 65mm. A single 65mm flows over 600cfm which is good for 290kw, while a 70mm which is still OK for throttle response will get you to 340kw. |

dont waste your money. i stopped buyin street machine after reading that article. i seem to know alot more about the 5.0L windsor than whoever wrote that article. why would you spend $2k to change the upper HO manifold and not the lower? the lower is the restriction needing porting or replacing. see here http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=334773 2. intake flowrates
the rpm II is a far better manifold, as is the bbk and holley systemax II (if only i could fit the airbox and maf on the drivers side to use the holley) + more and these all sell brand new from aussie suppliers at half the price of that stupid twin inlet plenum. running twin throttles will also achieve nothing without twin airboxes (and twin mafs, try working out that one with the eec). if you want some useful info read some of the mustang mags from the us. start here http://mustang50magazine.com/techarticles/
