yeah well, its not going to hurt my wallet! , lol., its my old's car .

nope, I can't get the aux shaft to spin . ... I'll be taking the motor out tommorrow, and doing some more work on it then .

Ordered a ACL race overhaul kit for it +60thou flat tops and all .. so they are going to get a nice motor out of it ... only thing is, its still a boat to drive!

It looks like to me that the location pin wasn't aligned with hole.As you can see it there is a mark where it has pressed into cog...Then after time due to tension on bolt it finally broke as there would be a slight bend or twis on bolt as it tightened up....????

Yeah, that makes sence, But that bolt have never been touched before ...

Funny thing is ..

was told by the old fella that it started making a whinging noise before hand .

been making a funny noise for a few days ..

*sighs* I already got enough to do at the moment!!

Will start a new thread on it ..

will take pics along the way, maybe make it a sticky on DIY motor rebuild?

while your doin docco you should put words to the headgasket replacemnet pics you have on ure website
