A while back I removed the electric antenna wiring from an EBII Fairmont at the wreckers, which was completely seperate from the main loom.
Basically it has the plug for the aerial, some sort of relay box, the switch and a power wire which tapped into the main loom. It had no connection to the radio. Now I acquired an EBII Fairmont wreck of my own and its aerial wiring is part of the main loom? And looks like it connects to the radio? Although its hard to tell because the stereo wiring is 'stripped' and not part of a plug. But theres a wire I cant account for is which is blue/red stripe, does this plug into the factory stereo? Theres 8 wires for the speakers, earth, constant, ignition and parkers (dimmer?) and this mystery wire. Ideas? Anyone with an EBII/ED can you look at your stereo plug for me?
