which lil black box on the fire wall? and where on the manifold because mine has exactly the same symtoms and ive been chasing it for months but cant find anything

he means the map sensor from what i can gather, there is a small vacum hose that runs from the rear inside of the mpefi manifold then up to it, also has a 3pin plug that plugs into the bottom of it, follow the windshield washer jet hose and it runs right over the top of it

is there a brace of sorts that is in production for the fords to help/completely eliminate it? i know in the VW scene there is and it is referred to as a kafer brace. it apparently completely eliminates wheel hop. might be something for you lot to look into fabricating if there is nothing readily available? for the leaf-sprung falcons, yes, ford actually came up with radius arms that went over the top of the diff and bolted onto the rear subframe, and that stopped the springs winding up
