Hi ive just put a 2.5 mandrel bent system on my AU1, i have heard people say that you have to reset the ECU or Computer is this true, if so how do i do it.

unplug it, or the battery for 1/2 and hour. I don't think it is actually required. I just got pacies done today. Car immediately felt much better.

after a bit of driving, the ECU will re-learn itsself, prob by the time you where home from thex exhuast shop .

I just ordered a set of JMM extractors and asked Jim this very question . He said the people who recommend the reset of the computer must like the sound of their own voice , in other words they are talking crap .

i was wondering the same thing,,new here but been involved with cars for a while,,this adaptive stratigy,does the battery really need to be disconnected or not,,i thought the ecu would relearn regardless,,i stand to be corrected though.

just reset your ECU any time you do anything, it'll never do it any halm.
