I have some 6" phillips speakers to fit into the front of my ef. THey say 6" but i think they are actually 6 1/2". They were slightly too big to fit the rear holes. Will they fit in the factory front location. I dont want to go to the effort of pulling off the front door panels if they arent going to fit.

Please no comments about how s**t Phillips speakers are - they will be better than the 10 year old factory ones.

i had the same problem with my EB....just trim the holes a little bit with some tin snips.....the easiest way is the cut little slits and then fold the metal tabs back...like i said...it wont need much..if they say 6" why would they be lying????...the speakers that are 6.5" usually say so...but then again they are phillips...ooops....sorry
