as in the subjuect i have an EL fairmont and the front speaker size is 6" but with slight mod i reckon i can fit a 6 1/2 " but does anyone amke any 6" speakers that are any good, or what 6 1/2 " fit as they cant be very deep so who has what types of speakers in there front doors, cos i dont wanna get aset and find out there to deep

I got some Pioneer 2-ways that fit fine. Could probably fit the 3-ways that I got sitting around, but I can't be f**k pulling off the door interior again. Soooo much effort...

from brand do brand, some 6.5"s are closer to 6" than what theyre supposed to be....

i had pioneer 6.5" bullet splits in my last el they were deep but they still fit like a glove

im about to put some boston sl60 in and they fit like a glove from what i hear but depends what u wanna spend

well bostons was what i was looking at actually and tell me how the sl60's go as the as the pro6 seem to be a bit espensive
