hey all
well with the rains here, again my back window seal(s) have sprung a leak - and i really don't appreciate water on my nice seats  so i have 2 leaks at the moment - one from the rear boot seal, the other from the rear window seal!
so, my question is, whats the replacement cost for a rear window & seals? i realise you can't just replace the seals by themselves - has anyone got any bright ideas? cheers

you should have got the number plates "siv" for your car ... that's what it repels water as good as

I would go to a few smash repair places Uglybob and get a few quotes, at least 3 places. I can only see it being a couple of hundred dollars at most.

its odd - it happened quite a bit last year, and i had a go at sealing it, but didn't seem to work, yet its only happened once this year, when the car was parked facing up a hill
haha i'm so lost!
actually... maybe that might indicate its the door seals & not the rear window ones... hmmm...

i have heard of insured people who get a free windscreen replacement go to the local cricket oval and whoops - but that not honest though

Why replace the glass? Why not just have it professionally refitted?
New rear screens, from what I am told are very expensive. With the demister in them they have a high failure rate during production and therefore this drives up the cost.
