I want to remove my spoiler from my EF XR8 but am concerned about the holes that the bolts will leave. As it has only been resprayed 2 years ago, I dont want to bog it and resparay. Is there a simple way to get round this?

find someone with a car in the same colour without a spoiler and ask them if they want a free spoiler?

You cant just bog them up anyway, they need to be welded - which on the thin boot cheet metal surface isnt the easiest thing to do and the heats can easily become too much for it and get small ripples in it which show after paint..

The reason im yet to do it, costs so bloody much unless you can find someone with perfect boot lid to swap with you.

Easiest answer: get another boot lid.
