Can one of these just be hooked up to the same vacum line as the MAP on the E-Series I6 with a t-peice?

yes shouldn't be a problem as long as you don't introduce a leak.

It's an "anti-boost gauge" - it's what all the cool kids do these days.

Twr - personally i wouldnt tap it from the MAP line. Tee it from something less critical (just incase it ever springs a leak etc).
Vacuum gauge is a great tool. You'll learn a lot about what the engine is doing and how vacuum affects engine behaviour. Hehe - much better when it keeps going past -0hg tho Not only can it alert you to possible vac leaks but can diagnose all sorts of stuff like burnt valves, worn valve guides, blocked exhausts etc. http://www.obd-codes.com/howto/diagnoseengine.php

The MAP isn't critical in my car - as I'm generally on LPG which doesn't kmake use of it.
