PFFT, check out the first two pictures on their site under 'custom work'. That's my car with the twin turbos and I did all that MYSELF. Dodgy buggers trying to claim they did it! All they did was sell me the kit and they weren't even called Snort back then, it was just a dude that lives in Wodonga that sold the odd turbo kit on ebay. On the other hand there was nothing wrong with my kit, it cost $2500 and included two T28 turbos, manifolds, a bit of piping, injected throttle body, fuel reg and all oil lines....but be prepared to pay another couple of grand to get it all up and running. Stuff like brass fittings, piping, silicon hose, exhaust, etc all adds up.

it wasn't that quick actually, i never had time to get it tuned before i took it to SpringNats and got done by the cops. Would have had to get it engineered so i cracked the s**t and took them off. That was my 3rd canary so I'd had enough of spending money by that stage.

I just bought my kit not long back (stage 2 AU) but haven't yet put it on.
I figure its better than chasing the NA route. |

I figure its better than chasing the NA route. Your right on the turbo as being best gains for power. But with insurance companies & defect notices with non compliance tags you really don't want a defect notice on the car Keep a low profile on the streets & police genrally will over look your car. Start looking for trouble by hanging with large car gatherings & eventually you would get a defect. I attended the croydon car shows out east melb a few times until a banana brain did a burnout & attracted unwanted attention as they normally do. I was 1 of many that got pulled over & checked. I was 1 of the very few that never got defected mainly because I was older & the Buick was a car they were not familiar with. Only warned on the size of the 10x15 cragiars with 303x60 series on the rear. But no way would I take my car there again. Just a spectator now. ghiaman |

Start looking for trouble by hanging with large car gatherings & eventually you would get a defect. Exactly. Don't be a d***head and you should avoid most trouble that comes your way.... It's common sense I guess. |
