I bought a set of 20lb injector for my car. These were off a 4.1efi Falcon. My problem is that although they run fine, the engine starts to vary its idle after a time just idling. You can drive it and do what you want, but idle it for a time and its starts to vary.I have found a site that says the STD injectors are only 18.15lbs and the ones I put in are 20.4lb.Lost cause???

Any difference in fuel pressure on the 4.1?? Flow ratings are specified at a specific fuel pressure... standard EF I6 injectors are 19#.

Maybe try resitting the ECU... are the injectors you put on there clean/recon??

I thought 4.1 EFI was CFI...

I don't think it is fuel pressure as I disconnect the fpr and it was about the same etc.,.It will idle ok then momently die/loose its idle then resume, idle for a while then die/loose its idle.Does not stall or anything and still very drivable. They had been cleaned and tested. They are bosch 0-280-150-215 and the ones in the car where 0-280-150-790

I thought you had to change/modify/chip your ECU when you changed injectors. How does the ECU know the injectors are flowing more?

hunting down means its rich
because you have added a set of larger injectors, the ecu still opens them for the same time. but coz there bigger, they feed more fuel in the same time.
look into a chip or somethin to make the most of them

you wont find gains unless your runnig a wild ignitin setup or forced induction
