There is nothing quite like the smell of an Avgas burning Ski Race boat. I would recommend if you haven't already, get to a big ski race once in your life. Southern 80 is a classic...

Dammit, now I can't wait till next Feb for the Southern80...
FPV_GTp, they did that mothball thing on Mythbusters, great show, and it actually helped whatever engine they were doing it on run smoother! Actually thinking of Avgas, there was a guy at my old highschool who ran a KX80 on a 50:50 mix of Avgas and 2 stroke, he'd shaved the head to give it more compression. Went pretty hard for an 80, and lasted at least 4 months

I used to run methanol in my old speedway modified production
loved that smell - good for clearing out the nose too. |
