what do u all think about water injection ?? i know it is done on turbo and supa charged engines but u dont read that much on it on natually aperated engine, was thinking about running a injector with a seprate water tank and pump and using the signal from the comp to the fuel injectors via electronics to the water injector, i dont really know anything about injectors so ...... just a thought, what whould be the pros and cons ??? and problem along the way

Pros: cooler air going into the engine
Cons: water droplets in intake charge slow down combustion Unless you have a turbo/supercharger, they pretty well cancel each other out. Thats why you dont read much about them on a NA engine.

Yeah it only really seems to be done on NA engines that run in really hot climates or run high compression engines. Only worth the effort on turbo or blown engines IMO.

it can be used onhot days as well. and has the benifits of keeping the valves and combustion chambers clean.
the best thign to do is to buy a premade water injection kit the only drama is they are boost referenced ie more boost= more water injected ( it is a VERY fine spray ) you would need a way to make it vaccum refrenced cant be to hard so when u have zero vaccum (WOT ) you get full water spray etc i have been thinkign about this as well using a very fine misting nozzle from a gardern sprinkler system, might just bite the bullet and buy 1
