a question for the guys with centrivical superchargers
just wanna ask where do u put your air filter.
like i can see in photos the intake piping comin from the back of the supercharger around to the front but then it dissapears behind the head light.
do u but the filter behind the head light or run the pipin down further and put the filter behind the brake duct?

Mine sits just behind the hole on the passenger side of the front bar (where I have seen a few people have their fog lights).

Uses some crimped pipe to get there, so it can be flexy if it needs to be as well.

Nice & low to the ground & just behind an opening for the air to come in. Couldn't ask for much more.

I run mine down in the front spoiler. Cut a hole in the fender under where the factory airbox use to sit and then route the air intake down to the front bar.

The pod doesn't need to be in the airbox, but I believe it does need to be shielded to be legal.

Yes my air filter sits where these other two blokes have them mounted. Cut a nice big hole in the sheet metal under the airbox and run some flexipipe down there.

I dont really think water is an issue unless you are stupid enough to drive through deep water. My current setup is fairly low at the bottom of the front spoiler, but unless the water is 6-12" and I drive through it fairly fast I dont see any real issue.

My filter is bolted pretty much underneath the passenger side headlight. Whilst i do get a little nervous when theres heaps of water on the road, it would take a serious flood to take a gulpful of water into the engine... my feet would be swimming...

It sits in between the "brake duct" and the headlight.... so it's a good foot and a half off the ground... probably about a foot lower than the standard snorkel...

Never had any problems with picking up water, but I gotta clean the AFS more regularly. It has a tendency to get filthy.

Here is a pic of my old CAPA setup that sat just below the headlight in the front bumper (front bumper removed in the pic). I have relocated it further down now to give me more room to mount the MAF and larger piping.
