hey all,
im just wondering, is it possible to change the lights in the cluster on a ZL Fairlane? thems the ones with the funky green digital dash/cluster...

if so, how much work would be involved? im thinking of changing em to either red or blue.. not sure yet, depends how much work is required.

thanks in advance

i chucked the better of them up here if you would want to have a look:

i only paid 500 bucks for it. theres a lil rust in it, but not much - jst the usual c pillar stuff really but thats minor

(and the fluffy seat covers came out VERY quickly after the pic was taken)

the only thing that doesnt work on the car - is the central locking, by neither the drivers door key, or the central locking button on the front doors...
oh, and the aircon doesnt work either - lost its gas.. as these cars seem too.
n it doesnt have the sports computer either..

but other than that, everything works :) which is good

one prob tho, its unlic'd - jst more motivation for me to get some work done to it to get it on the road again i guess

you gott alvoe the old fairlanes, have you thought about doing it up and saving it from rusting away?

i can also feel the rods in the doors moving about a lil when i open the drivers door.. so i think that il be needing to get that sorted out soonish so that i can stillg e tinto the car!

shame about that guy selling the fairlane out from under you - when you had put down the deposit.. n most annoying i can imagine... :s
