Anybody heard of/used these before??
I'm currently looking around for something in the 1000 - 1500 price range. From what i can gather the ems8860 looks the best bet or maybe a wolf 3D v4 +. I'm looking at a big cam & headwork on a eb 6. At the moment only have a small cam. i don't need one staright away so i'll look aorund to see what i can find. Any info or opionions would greatly appreicated Cheers |

Havnt seen Link used on fords yet, but its top quality gear, maybe more suited to imports, support wise anyway.
Plenty of us using Wolf and EMS of varying models, all with good results |

I sent an email to Link and found the price (in $NZ) to be $1,300 which equates to about $1,200 in AUD. That's for the LinkPlus which can be found here:
http://www.link-electro.co.nz/lem_link_plus.html And for the basic Link system its only $850 NZD which equals about $785 AUD http://www.link-electro.co.nz/link_engi ... ement.html From what i can tell, it seems a very good price for what you get. If anyone has any more info/thoughts it would be greatly appreicated. Cheers |

Had a look.
Link plus looks great. Lots of features. Although overall tuning resolution seams poor. Ie. with only 10 load rows you would have trouble tuning a boosted setup. The knock control is a really good feature. Try and find a distributor over here to give you advice on tuning/ support. I would gove the normal Link a miss. You will have trouble bringing your car back to standard driveability let alone improving it.
