this will breifly show you how to add the rear bar found on fairmonts ie "thingy" only showing this because i saw a real dodgy job the other day.


When you get hold of one make sure it has the rubber backing on it. this provides a stencil for installation. peel the rubber off and place it over the area and it will almost choose where it wants to go. you will notice the contour of it will sit perfectly in one spoy only.

get a drill and bit correct size and prepare to cringe and the noise when you drill holes into your own car

now simply slide it in and bolt in the nuts from inside the boot PRONTO! you have yourself a sexy new addition i think it makes the car look so much better and classier (is that a word?) i think they look bare without them

cheers big ears! i'm looking to do mine soon, and we've had a few thoughts about the best way to go about it - that looks pretty good!

now the question is - does the rubber part actually come right down to where the number plate is, or is there a gap?

there is a small gap if you download the pic where im holding it on the car youll be able to see it better. the image is good quality so just zoom in. also make sure when you drill put something there as a sealer just as security against leaks ect but i asure there wont be

how about the chrome bits around the number plate.. im looking at gettin some of them
