I used the narva plug in blue led's on my dash. Problem i have is that only half the dash lights up. Some globes appear not to work yet work in other places on the dash and the old clear ones still work. eg globes appear fine and the old globes work but cannot get blue ones to work in the same spot. Anyone else have this problem?

LED's need to be installed with the correct polarity. For the ones that don't work, pull them out, rotate by 180 degrees and reinstall. Should fix your problem.

I thought that might be the case - i feel like a real dumb-a** now!
I will change them tomorrow night. I pulled them in and out a couple of times - must have lucked out by putting them in the wrong way each time. |

Also be gentle how you insert them - turning them the wrong way can scrape the metal contact off the cluster, and then you'll be really screwed. Just turn it the way that feels easiest. It'll resist you if you turn the LED the wrong way.

Thats why you should just connect the plugs to test the dash before u reassemble everything! |

to change all the led's over in the dash how long does it take? (that includes removing the dash, removing lights and installing led's and the puting everything back together again once its working)
im hoping to do my dash within the next week or 2, so i just wanna know an approx time limit i will need.

Taking the dash and the cluster out is only a 10-15min job. Replacing the globes is only about 5 mins 9making sure they are the right way round) and then fitting everything back about 20 mins.
I've taken my cluster out a few times. First time was a bit longer. |

i have replace the dash background to white. the needle's i had to remove, what u need to do is get a rule and mark the out on the mouding where the end of the needle lines up. use a fork to pry off the needle from the shaft. DO NOT BEND THE SHAFT. just as long as you put the needle back in the original spot you should be ok.
speedo and taco is easy but the hardest is the water temp, oil pressue, volts and fuel. I also had to chage the coulour of the needle to red using a permanent red texter looks affective. i still have clear globes in the socket but the colour in the background has chaged it to red and blue.
