Platinum plugs are crap...They foul quickly
Iridiums arent that bad but require s perfect tune. |

So if standard gap was 1.1mm you'd be running a gap of 0.3mm.... but that sounds a bit extreme. Not sure if a car would idle with that gap... Suggest you ask your tuner what was done... thoughts EBXR8380??? Also would be 3 heat ranges cooler... Do your plugs foul up if not boosting much? Yep thats the general rule from NGK, but I guess they are on the safe side.. Remember a 1600 or 2000 engine would require this ..My old Kent engine 1600 run N7's and std was N9's...Big engines with small bores like Falcon 6's are not as crucial...I was talking heat range not plug gap..On forced motors with std ignitions plug gap needs to come down alittle or flow will blow spark out...Look at plug gaps on S/C V6 Holden..
