Right, just hacked back into the dash to figure out why the temp guage wasn't working - turns out i shagged it when i put the needles back on. Sooo, i'm gonna need a new temp guage module, as shown in the picture. Please please please will anyone who can help me out get back to me asap? I'm sure you can imagine this is quite a vital part to have working. Cheers.

If you've bent the indicator needle, then yeah, you're up s**t creek, however, if you've pressed the pointer too hard, you can grab a small pliers and carefully, pull on the indicator needle, they can bind, and I've found this method may be all you need to fix the problem.
Worth a try . . . .

Oh my god!!! I didn't think it would work since i'd been trying it for hours, but it has... man, thanks for making me persist, i now have a fully working cluster.

i have a replacement one out of an ef cluster i pulled to peices its a low series one its teh clear plastic witht the 2 motor things that control the needles, either that or you can buy a new cluster.
ill get pics tonight if your interested |
